New leather sewing machine!

Last week my new leather sewing machine arrived. This machine makes it easy to sew those hard to reach corners and curves in bags.
Originally this is a special shoemaker’s sewing machine, so who knows what it will produce in the future!

But there is a lot more to tell! My skiving machine has got a new and quieter engine, it’s truly a joy to work on it now. My husband made me a new working table in the adjoining room, next to my current studio. The last couple of days I spent a lot of time in redecorating those two studios to create separate working areas: for cutting, stamping and punching, for sewing other non-leather fabrics and for painting and dyeing leather. Having two studios also help to keep me fit: I do a lot of walking to and forth.
