A few weeks ago I said goodbye to my 100-year-old Singer sewing machine (a manually driven 29K58). In one of my blogs last year I told you about my new shoemaker’s sewing machine. The old Singer had to make room for my new one.
Fortunately I came across a foundation that rescues tools and machines for projects in third world countries. Through these projects people can provide for themselves. The Singer was still working perfectly and the people of the foundation were very happy with it. If you like to read more about this foundation and their projects, click here
