Merry Christmas and a Happy 2016!

I hope you managed to do all of your Christmas shopping and are ready to sit back and relax.

I have had some busy and eventful weeks, but was not only busy with sending the last Christmas parcels… Last November I suddenly needed immediate eye surgery to fix a problem with my retina. Fortunately everything went really well. During my last checkup my surgeon was quite satisfied with the result and of course so was I! Amidst trying to keep up with shipping out my parcels this last month and the surgery, understandably my own christmas shopping was a bit delayed. But even I am totally ready for Christmas! 🙂

This year again no white Christmas in Holland, in fact spring flowers are blooming already and some birds are nesteling. So let me entertain you with some beautiful snowy photos from previous years. I took these at the park in my home town and during trips I made during the Holiday seasons (the Hague shopping center; Rotterdam, Christmas tree, City Hall; Paris, Dome in Lafayette; NYC, Rockefeller center)
